Following are the officers for the Lake Forrest HOA:

The annual election for the Board of Directors will be held at the next HOA meeting on April 12. This year three positions are available for election. If you are interested in running for a position on the board, please notify Bay Property Services no later than March 31, 2017 for your name to be included on the proxy ballot. You can decide to run as late as at the meeting itself, but will not have the benefit of having your name placed on the proxy ballot after March 31. Proxy ballots will be available here after April 1 for your use if you cannot attend the meeting. Proxy ballots will not be mailed. If you plan on attending the meeting, you do not need the proxy ballot as ballots will be provided for you at the meeting.
With spring around the corner, many residents will be planning projects which require ARC approval. Please be aware that ARC approval may take as long as 30 days during peak review periods, so plan ahead for your approval. For more information, please see the ARC Approvals page on this site.
At the November 16 board meeting, the Board of Directors approved the 2017 budget which maintains the assessments at the same amount as in previous years, $300.00 per year. A copy can be downloaded from the link below. Invoices for 2017 Have been mailed out and are due by January 31, 2017. If you did not receive your invoice for any reason, please contact Bay Property Services. Any assessment which is not paid by that date will be assessed a late fee of $25.00 per month after that date. Please make all assessment payment checks payable to the Lake Forrest HOA.
The Village of Shorewood would like to remind all residents about the importance of installing mailboxes properly. The Village is not responsible for any damaged caused by snow plows if the mailbox has been found to be installed improperly. Following is the correspondence from the Village on how to locate the mailbox correctly and their policy on mailbox damage and replacement. If you have any questions regarding this, please direct them to the Village of Shorewood.
Owners are welcome to address the board during the open discussion portion of any meeting. Please note that in some cases, 5 days notice prior to the meeting may be required for owners to have a specific issue placed on the agenda in order to allow the board to have the proper documentation for a decision. The dates for the remaining 2017 HOA meetings are: April 12 (board elections), July 12 and October 25 (budget approval). All meetings are at 7:00 pm at the Shorewood Village Hall.
